BMW left on blocks at car lot

The folks at Miracle Beach Clearing House had an unpleasant surprise when they arrived at the used car lot on Comox Road Monday morning.

One of their vehicles – a 2003 BMW 330XI – was sitting on bricks. Sometime during the weekend, someone stole all four rims and tires.

“They caused damage to the vehicle while doing this and then left the front end sitting in the dirt,” said Adam, of Miracle Beach. “They didn’t even bother to clean up their tools.

“Currently we are awaiting to hear back from the police forensics unit and reviewing video tape.”

The tires on it were Michelin 205/50/17.

If anyone has any information on the theft, call the RCMP and refer to file 2016-4858.
