Robbie Thompson of the Comox Valley won two gold medals Tuesday morning at the National Transplant Games.
Thompson, 14, began with a five-kilometre warmup ride, then rode a five-km time trial, his mother reported from Calgary.
"He decided after that that he felt so good that he would sign up for the 20-km road race."
She said her son earned gold medals in the five- and 20-km distances.
