Popular Comox Valley charity You Are Not Alone has a timely suggestion that can help with your gift wrapping and help YANA at the same time.YANA volunteers are selling ribbons that are perfect for putting the finishing touch on gifts. The ribbons are made from recycled material.Five rolls totalling 50 metres cost $5 and they come in Christmas or spring colours.Because they are donated and because a Grade 7 École Robb Road class counted and put stickers on bags containing the ribbons, all of the proceeds from sales will go to YANA.In turn, the charity rents apartments in Vancouver to provide free accommodation for family members of sick children who need health care on the Lower Mainland. The ribbons can be bought at the YANA office at 495 Fitzgerald Ave. in Courtenay.
