Vandalism near residences at 19 Wing Comox

Military police are asking for help from the public

The military police at 19 Wing Comox is asking for help from the public in finding witnesses to acts of vandalism or surveillance footage following damage to buildings in their residential housing area.

On May 5, military police received a report that graffiti had been spray pained within the compost area of Wallace Gardens. A further investigation revealed that additional locations were vandalized between May 7 and 8, including Airport Elementary School, Kinnikinnik Childcare Centre, 19 Wing Chapel and the Canex.

Anyone who may have witnessed the acts of vandalism or has surveillance footage of their property that may overlap the affected areas are encouraged to contact the military police at 250-339-8218. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
