Have you seen this slick running out to sea? This video was taken at the airpark gazebo and it shows some sort of contamination floating on the water, heading out with the tide. City of Courtenay Public Works Department staff are attributing the slick to the oil and other vehicle fuels being picked up in the snow removal process, then when the snow is pushed out into the water, the oil goes there as well.
