World Community Development Education Society is holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Lower Native Sons Hall.

The meeting will include updates on the society's work and a special presentation about the Nicaraguan health promotion project it supports.

There will also be a screening of the 22-minute film, Reflections; Art for an Oil-Free Coast, which shares the story of an expedition of 50 artists into the truly stunning Great Bear Rainforest, a landscape that is threatened by Enbridge's proposed Northern Gateway pipeline and supertanker project. As these artists worked among pristine estuaries and alongside bears, they created an amazing collection of art to share with the world.

Attendees will be entered into a draw for a special door prize.
