Aaron Peter Whonnock passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 4, 2018.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Alice Whonnock, grandparents Bert and Emma Smith, uncle Hank, aunts Rachael, Rosemary, Gloria, Alberta and Anna.
Aaron leaves behind to mourn his passing; his parents Richard and Bernice Whonnock, his sons Tristan (11 years), and Marcus (6 years) Batoche, all of Edmonton, his aunts and uncles Yvonne, Mona (Francis), Arnie (Julie), Elvis (Heather), Diana (Doug), and Caroline, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Aaron was a very generous person, always putting people ahead of himself. He was always interested in learning more about his heritage.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoyed camping, swimming, being adventurous, and loved taking things apart and putting them back together. He also had a love of English Bull Terriers. His working life consisted of carpentry/framer as well as an iron worker. His most favourite job as a young adult was at Sharky's Billiards.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 26th at 1 PM from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay.
