KNOWLES, Agnes May
1917 – 2010
Mom was born on May 7, 1917 in Denton, England and passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, BC.
She is survived by her sons: Sam (Brooke) of Comox, Norman (Betty) of Qualicum Beach and daughter, Agnes of Courtenay; stepson, Norman (Darlene) of High River, AB and Norine (Stuart) Nanson of Kamloops; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Allan and sister, Elizabeth of England.
Predeceased by her husband, Sam in 1994 and step-daughter-in-law, Marion; brothers, Ellis and Joseph Malpas.
Many thanks to all the staff at Oceanview wing who have been so helpful and supportive for the past 6 months.
Cremation. No flowers or service by request. Donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada “Champs” Program.
