Al passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox on Saturday, May 8th, 2004 at the age of 60 years. He was born and raised in the Comox Valley; and was married to Lorinda for over 39 years. Their marriage produced 2 daughters, Susanne and Tracy (Mike), and 2 beautiful grandchildren, who were the apples of his eyes, Jessica and Cody.
Al loved fishing and gardening and spending time with his grandkids. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 12th, 2004 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home, Courtenay, with Pastor Ron Freeman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al’s memory to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home.
