ALBERT SCHUBERG

July 27, 1920 – June 15, 2008


Al passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Hazel of 63 years; his two daughters Thea (Ken) of Courtenay and Karen (Jerry) of Calgary; his four grandchildren; Erin of Vancouver, Michelle (Jeff) of Fernie, Chris (Sharoni) of Calgary and Myles of Calgary as well as his great grandchild Parker of Fernie. Al was born in Vancouver and began his career in the airlines in Prince Rupert. He was employed by CP Air for 43 years, where he and his family lived in Richmond. He lived his last 10 years in Comox by his beloved ocean. Al had a great sense of humour and wit. He enjoyed people, almost as much as he enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

A small celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 21st at the Schuberg home #104, 2275 Comox Avenue (Emerald Shores) Comox, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 3433, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 5N5 (338-8151) would be appreciated
