Alice Annie Maud Ramsell

“Gone to Glory”
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and nana, Alice Ramsell. She is survived by Bill, her Husband of 68 years, Son Michael (Joan), Daughter Penny (Joe), and four Grandsons: Tony and Adam Ramsell, Jonathan (Michelle) & Stephen Galliazzo.
Alice was born in Russell, MB but fell in love with the West Coast on a visit to Vancouver Island when she was 12 years old. She and Bill moved to many parts of Canada during Bill’s career with the Armed Forces, but returned to the Island upon retirement.
Alice had four great loves in her life: her savior, the Lord Jesus; her husband Bill; her family, and those who came to her for love, wisdom and prayer over many years.
Alice was forever young in her heart and loved to chat with anyone who was around. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
A memorial service will be held at Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 23, 2009.
