It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Alice (Toni) Edwards on May 16, 2025, having just celebrated her 100th birthday in October 2024. Toni is predeceased by husband James (Stocky) Edwards and Jeannie Alice (Edwards) Girolami. Survived by daughters; Dorothy Ellen Edwards, Angel Edwards and son James Michael Edwards. Grandchildren; Robert Tracy, Jessie and Robin Turner, Stephen, Chris and Mike Girolami; B.J. Edwards and Melisha Atfield. Great grandchildren; Eddie, Fiona and Florian Turner, Olivia and Lucia Girolami, Elizabeth Cameron, Krystal Rose, Deanna Kutny, Joe and Mia Girolami. Great great grandchildren; Jacob, Jaxon and Jaden Cameron. Nieces; Mini McMeil, Rosella Hoffman and Russell Sochan.
Having served in the military from 1943 - 1946
(WAFF) Communications switchboard, she was honorably discharged, and moved onto nursing in the First Convalescent Hospital burn ward, then into nursing at Grace Hospital, Vancouver BC. Toni enjoyed knitting and snow showing. And had a great love for people.
