It is with sad hearts we have to say goodbye to a mother, a sister, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. Margaret passed away peacefully at home in Courtenay B.C. surrounded by family.
Margaret is survived by her sons Robert (Deb) of Winnipeg MB, Carl of Courtenay BC, and James of Vancouver BC; her daughters Beverly (Charlie) of MB, Cheryl (Brett) of Calgary AB and Cindy (Jim) of Courtenay BC; her brother Brian (Beverly) of Calgary AB. Margaret also leaves behind 13 grandchildren Shawna Faye, Dale, Robyn, Ivor, Lloyd, Christine, Cass, Kathleen, Darius, Caitlin, Ashley, Christina and Alex; and 10 great-grandchildren Johnathan, Jason, Sabrina, Morgan, Sasha, Maggie, Drake, Nolan, Sophia and Zara.
Margaret had many friends across the island, her in-laws Linda (Gene) and Gail of Port Alberni, Dorthy, Mark, Daniel of Sayward, Karen of Courtenay and too many more to name.
She is predeceased by her daughter Lana in 2011, and her husband Floyd in 2017.
We would also like to thank all the home care support workers who came in daily to help with her care and the hospice society for their help as well.
She will be greatly missed by all. At Margaret's request there will be no service but a Celebration of Life in late August for the family.
