Al Vincent passed away on December 31, 2006 in Comox, B.C. after a lengthy illness.
He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and his sister-in-law. Al is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Bernadette, his son Larry (Linda) of Victoria, B.C., his daughter Lynda (Jake) Friesen of Victoria, B.C., his grandson Michael, his granddaughters: Terri, Karen and Christy, his great-grandsons: Morgan, Liam and Paris, his brother Emil LaBranche of Robb, Alberta, his sister Opal of Victoria, B.C. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Al served with the Navy during WWII and then served 16 years with the Canadian Coast Guard. He was a member of the Monarch Lions Club in Comox. Al was a very funny man with a great sense of humour. He was a very personable, generous and kind man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY. In lieu of flowers donations made in Al’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon, P.O. Box 1225, Comox, B.C.
