Andre passed away peacefully on June 12, 2018, at 90 years of age surrounded by his family. He is lovingly remembered and missed by his children: Laurier, Henriette, Alice, Louis, Carole, Gilles, Diane, Collette and their families, including 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Doris (nee Choquette) and his daughter Adrienne, the family takes comfort in knowing that they are all joyfully reunited at long last.

Having worked hard as a farmer in Alberta and as a heavy machinery operator for many years with Longlands, he was known as someone who gave a helping hand and who could find solutions to mechanical or building problems. After his retirement at age 58, he kept busy enjoying time with family and friends in the house that he built exclusively with the power of his own two hands. Andre had many hobbies and interests including, fishing, camping, gardening, teasing his children, tinkering in his shop, cribbage and cookies, and of course Hockey Night in Canada!

Andre will be remembered by many for his strong work ethic, quiet presence and dry wit. While he was known as a man of few words, his bright smile and the magic twinkle behind his beautiful blue eyes will forever speak volumes in the hearts and minds of all that knew and loved him.

Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church.
