In Loving Memory ~

Anjali Loiselaine Thomas (née Dunn), MSE, was born in Toronto, Ontario on September 21, 1938, the only child of James Garfield Dunn and Elenor May Dunn. She passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on March 26, 2025.

Anjali dedicated her life to service, learning, and the pursuit of deeper understanding. From her early work at University Settlement House to her decades-long exploration of spirituality, healing, and holistic health, she quietly touched many lives.

A lifelong student of religion, metaphysics, and esoteric wisdom, she studied and practiced yoga, Reiki, Trager therapy, Craniosacral work, and astrology. She founded the Comox Valley Metaphysical Group and was active in Christ's Church, Unity, and many spiritual communities.

Anjali is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Norman Thomas; her children Scott (Cheryl), Kathryn (Scott), Mahada (Brian), and Sewailu (James); and her grandchildren Sam (Lauren), Tristan (Jessica), Elliott (Amelia), and Maya (M'Kai). She is also mourned by her sister- and brother-in law Marilyn and Leroy, grandnephew Kevin, and her soul sisters of more than 30 years—Ann, Deb, Irene, and Nancy.

She will be remembered for her fierce intellect irreverent humor, and boundless curiosity. Anjali leaves a legacy of compassion, spiritual depth, and loving service.
