Born in Rutland, BC, Ann spent her childhood in Oyama, BC. Married Arthur Woodley March 1952. Beloved mother to four sons. Mom is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Laura; and her husband, of 51 years, Art. She is survived by her two sisters Ellie Spencer (Lionel Valois) and Diann Roseburg (Dick); her four sons: Bill (Kathy), David (Sharon), Rick, Doug (Lynn). Beloved grandmother to Jackie, Kevin, Denise, Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Jessica, Tyler, Zachary; and great-grandmother to Kylie Dawn.

Mom and Art lived and raised their family in the Comox Valley. Mom worked as a housekeeper at St. Joseph's Hospital for nineteen years. Mom was a member of the Merville Community Hall Association. Mom loved to work in her gardens. The family would like to recognize and thank the VIHA staff for the home support they provided to mom. Also a special thank you to Dr. Conway and the staff on the third floor of St. Joseph's Hospital. On behalf of the entire family we want to recognize and thank both Karen Lavoie and Michelle Hunter for the incredible friendship, love and support they provided to mom and to the entire family. A Celebration of Life for family and close friends will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 1:00-4:00 pm at 2020 Cedar Crescent in Courtenay.
