Barbara Anne Unger passed away at the North Island Hospital Comox Valley on September 11, 2019. Predeceased by her mother Helen Grover, sisters Cathy and Linda, brothers Wayne, Borden and Harold.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, Gerry Unger. She is also survived by her son Shane Clarke (Sheila), daughter Tamara Clarke, grandchildren Michael, Nick and Kyle, as well as her sister Judy-May Logan.
Barbara appreciated the opportunity to connect with others working at United Carpet and Penny Tyme Fashions. She was a past member of the Crown Isle Ladies Club, and also found pleasure in her involvement in the Campbell River Rock Club and the Courtenay Rock Club. Barbara took great amusement and delight from her collection of many fascinating items, including her jewelry. She also enjoyed gardening.
Barb was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who took pride in her three grandsons. She was a very loving and kind wife to her husband Gerry. Barb had a zest for life and loved to travel. She had a wide circle of friends and enjoyed many a (happy hours) with them.
