January 21st, 1943 ~ December 31st, 2016

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Barb Eddy AKA “Nana” has left the planet.

Predeceased by loving husband Ken, sister Sylvia, mother Grace and lets not forget Raymond (father).

Survived by fur baby Lili, daughters Patti (Michael), Suzie (Brian), grandchildren Blair (Meghan), Sammeh (Colin) Jennifer and Scott, and beloved great-grandchildren Kaiah, Jaxon, Aibhilin, and sweet Meabh and many others who loved Nana as their own.

Barb lived a very fulfilling life, traveling abroad to many places with her military husband. She was blessed by a Pope, viewed the Mona Lisa, and enjoyed gondola rides in the city of Venice. Always creative and hardworking, she enjoyed her gardening the most, always a horse lover, she dedicated years to clubs improving all she could.

Working many years in retail at Canex (Germany) and Manager at Lavers Dept. Store for over 20 years, then moving to demanding physical work TF Mill as Scaler and Forklift operator to farming at Springhill Farms, and Devonshire before starting her own Landscaping business, “The Garden Hoes”; a family business she worked hard at ‘till the end.

Barb was made of true grit, did everything on her own terms, her humour keep us laughing and dedication to her family was beyond measure.

You will be deeply missed by all who knew you Mom.
