Barbara Kelley, a resident of Courtenay, passed away on October 14, 2018 at Glacier View Lodge. She was predeceased by her parents Beatrice and Ruthven Baillie; sons Robert and Rodney Kelley and brother Larry Baillie. Left behind to mourn her passing is her son Rick Kelly; daughters Rhonda Burns and Rosemarie Kelley; grandchildren Cory, Mathew, Candice, Collin, Tiffany, Garret and Maikla; great-grandchildren Taylor, Morgan, Colby, Riley, Chevy and Koltan; sisters Bev Lussier and Beryle Clark.
In Barbara's leisure time she enjoyed baking, knitting and gardening, and was a member of the Elks and the Canadian Legion. She was a stargazer, a lover of animals big and small, enjoyed poetry and was an avid reader. She was a loyal fan to the Vancouver Canucks and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Her favourite hockey player of all time was Gino Odjick.
