Bart Jackson

August 31, 1964 - March 01, 2008

Bart past away peacefully at home in Black Creek, B.C. with his children (Kayla Bradley and Allias) and family surrounding him, as was his wish. He has now joined his mother and brothers. Despite the length of his battle, Bart remained courageous and Stand-Up to the end.

Bart was happiest in the bush; camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

Bart spent many years traveling the province logging, falling, and also spent time overseas in the Philippines, Hawaii, and Hong Kong to list a few. His passion and skill took Bart through to the dangerous and exciting career of Heli-logging.

Bart had the uncanny ability to make his friends and family laugh. Always full of puns and jokes; making him a great father, son, brother and friend.

His ashes will be spread by helicopter at the Peak of Goat Mountain in Northern B.C., where he spent memorable times.

So let all who knew Bart always remember to celebrate his life and the peacefulness that he so deservedly found. And honor Bart's words..."It's easier to keep up than to catch up... keep your stick on the ice".

Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, entrusted with private family cremation arrangements.
