Molly raised her three children on her own in southern California after the death of her first husband Donald McGavin. She had a nursing career that spanned 40 years, as well as many business ventures she was successful at. When Molly retired home was between Yuma, Arizona and Vancouver Island.

She lived a very full and colourful life. She took great pleasure in dancing, gardening, sewing and gathering with family and friends for dinner parties and a game of Dominos.

She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, lovely hands and blue eyes. She had a zest for life.

The family would like to thank Eagle Park Health Care facility in Qualicum for their loving care and attention to Molly, and all of their residents.

A Celebration of her life was held at the home of Cheryl & Lyle Myrfield in Comox on Saturday, September 8.

Molly was a strong and beautiful woman and we will miss her.

Donations may be made in remembrance of Molly to the Alzheimer’s Society.
