McLean, Bessie
Bessie went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 28th, 2003 at the age of 94. Bessie is predeceased by her husband Archie McLean, grandson Brent Peterson, her father Allan and mother Emily Cross, 6 brothers, 1 sister, and son Grant McLean.
Bessie is survived by her daughter Gwen Peterson and husband Elwood (Pete) of Courtenay; sons Alan McLean and wife Barbara of Duncan, and Cameron McLean of Courtenay; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Bessie will be held at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery on Friday, March 7th, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Alan McLean officiating, with a reception to follow in the “Garden Room” of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road.
