EVANS - Betty Ann (nee: Bliss) Peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by friends on Tuesay, October 14, 2008 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ray; mother of Philip (Darlene); grandmother of Barry (Micheline), Shawn (Mireille), Risa (Pierre), Troy (Fatuma); great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law of Gert Bliss (late Phil). Fondly remembered by Rita, Marie, Madeleine, Melanie, Shirley Rhodes of B.C. and Lois of Ohio.
Ray and Betty moved from Rossland back to Vancouver in the early 70's. In 1983 they bought a house in Parksville, until the spring of 1990 when they bought their house in Cumberland. Ray passed away in 1993, and then in 1994 Betty and Duffy moved to the Ottawa area with Phil.
