It is with profound sadness the family of Betty Lou Young announce her passing from this life, August 10, 2014 in Comox, B.C.
She was predeceased by her parents James and Viva May Chapman and her late husband Jack Young.
Left to mourn with a devastated heart is her husband Charles Kucey, brother James Chapman, sister Evelyn Lawrence, her daughter Shirley Young, sons; John (Cathee) Young, James (Jessica) Young, Lennard (Barb) Kucey, Glenn (Shelley) Kucey, Ken (Corrine) Kucey, and Dave Kucey, grandchildren; Nicholas (Melissa) LaFrance, Réal (Lisa) LaFrance, Jennifer (Tommy) Matheos, Scott (Jocelyn) Lywood, Jacob Young, Matt Young, great-grandchildren; Taylor and Jacob LaFrance, Kaitlynn Lywood, nieces and nephews, and 19 more grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren from her blended family.
A celebration of Betty Lou`s life will be held Saturday, August 23rd, 2014, 1:00pm at the Comox Valley Seniors Centre, 1801 Beauford Avenue in Comox with a reception to follow.
