Beverley Doreen McPhee

October 25, 1926

~ February 5, 2009

Beverley Doreen McPhee (nee Banks) died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family just as she would have wanted it.

Never demanding, always patient, she left us in her quiet and unassuming way. Even though Dementia robbed her of so much, we still witnessed how she truly was a lady right up to her last breath. Her amazing capacity to love and find the good in everyone was reflected in her daily life. She opened her heart and home to all. She possessed an endless amount of grace, wisdom, and strength. Our highly intelligent mother was a woman ahead of her times. She loved to learn and was a role model for many. Her memory will be honoured as we strive to live our lives by her example. We will remember her every time we see flowers, hear wind chimes, eat ice-cream and frolic in the ocean.

A service for Beverley will be held when the family can be together in mid March. The time, date and location will be announced in the future. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Diabetic Society, or the charity of your choice.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
