With grieving hearts we announce the passing of Bikkie on August 17, 2019. Born on September 11, 1958 to parents Aili and George Datema in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She grew up in Rocky until moving with her parents and sister to Courtenay, B. C. in 1974. Here she finished high school and worked in various jobs in the logging industry and after attending North Island College, she started her bookkeeping business.
In 1989 she married Charles Moore and lived in Comox, B.C. where they raised their children Carly and Brian. In 2009 she married Axel Uskoski and moved near Brush Prairie, Washington.
She liked traveling and visiting with family and special friends and attending church. She will be remembered as a soft spoken and creative poet with a heart full of love for her family and friends.
Bikkie was laid to rest August 22, 2019 in Elim Cemetary South, Brush Prairie, Washington. She is survived by her husband Axel Uskoski, parents Aili and George Datema, daughter Carly Moore (Rusty), son Brian Moore (Trisha), brothers Ivar Datema (Connie) and Darcy Datema, sister Marleen Datema (Klaes) and nieces Amber and Chelsea along with very special extended family and friends within her church community, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada.
