Predeceased by his wife Anne, parents Agnes and Clovis, brother Harold, and nephew Tony. Survived by son Peter, daughter Kim, and niece Linda (Ted).
Blake was a proud member of the RCAF for 30 plus years as an Air Traffic Controller. He enjoyed many postings here and abroad. His first overseas posting was to Great Britain in the early 50's where if you look closely you might just see him during the Queens Coronation. Upon returning to Canada he met and married his wife Anne in 1956. Together they enjoyed many postings. In the early 60's they were posted to Germany where they enjoyed the culture as well as vacationing to France and Spain. upon returning to Canada they were posted to Goose Bay, Labrador where their 2 children Peter and Kim joined them. His final posting was to Comox where they both enjoyed retirement.
Blake was about giving back to his community through volunteer work. Through the years he volunteered with Dial Alert, the Auxillary Coast Guard, Comox Legion Branch 160 on the Executive, and with D'Esterre Seniors Housing Society.
