BOGELUND, Brenda (Mitchell)

It is with great sadness that we announce that Brenda Bogelund (Mitchell) passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at St.Joseph's Hospital in Comox on May 22nd, 2010.
Brenda is survived by her husband Warren, daughters Brittany and Jasmine, son Jared, parents Richard and Marilyn, sisters Sheryl (Paul) and Renee, nephews Jason (Nicole), Josh (Sarah) and great-niece Peyton and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Born in Powell River, B.C. and raised in Faro, Yukon and Courtenay, B.C. Brenda and her family had resided in Fort St John, B.C. for the past 8 years. she will be dearly missed by family and friends and will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the Third Floor of St. Joseph's Hospital for all of their loving care and support they gave her.
There will be a celebration of her life to be held at Paul and Sheryl Lebruns, 4568 Marsden Road in Courtenay, B.C. on Saturday June 5, 2010 starting at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brenda's memory to the B.C. Cancer Society.
