It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a truly wonderful gentleman.
Born in Somerset, England, Brian immigrated with his young family to Canada in 1957 and, after proudly serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, he and his wife, Eileen, eventually settled in Comox.
Brian was a man who found tremendous joy in the simplest of things. He was enthusiastic about nature and his community, and especially enjoyed daily walks around Point Holmes with his Sweetie of 69 years.
He was well known for his infectious laugh and cheerful waves; if he wasn't striking up a conversation wherever he went, he'd be handing out candies from his pockets just to brighten someone's day. In true British fashion, Brian believed a hot cup of tea was the cure-all for just about anything.
A loving and dedicated grandfather, father, and husband, Brian will be deeply missed.
