Born April 5, 1910 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2002 in Comox, B.C.
His wife of 60 years, Maxine, 5 brothers and sisters and 1 daughter Patricia Daniel preceded him in death.
He is survived by four children: Marcia Brogan (Sydney), Anne Justinen, Bud Lancey Jr. (Janet), Bert Lancey; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
He worked as construction superintendent for Canadian Forest Products in the Nimpkish Valley (Wass Camp and Vernon Camp) for 25 years. Retired to Victoria, B.C. and Courtenay, B.C. respectively.

A memorial service will be held at the Courtenay Salvation Army Church on Saturday, March 23 at 4:00 p.m.
