Patrick, Calvin M.- passed away on August 14 in his 93rd year. After graduating from the Ontario Agriculture College 'Cal' farmed in Ilderton until 1965 at which time he and his wife 'Terri,' moved to Eastern Ontario where he worked for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture for 25 years. In retirement Cal and Terri moved from Renfrew to Penticton to Tillsonburg and in 2009 after Terri passed away Cal moved to Comox BC where he spent his final decade. He was the uncle of Janet Carmichael (Campbell River, BC) and Scott Carmichael (Ilderton, Ontario) and the great uncle of two generations. Cal was known as a man who loved history, trains, John Deere tractors, a good joke, an interesting read and the opportunity to write. Through his writings Cal contributed to the history of London Township and brought smiles. In his own words Cal "had a good life" and he was ready to go. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations made to Shriner's Hospital for Children would be appreciated.
