In Loving Memory ~
Carl "Raymond" Card (Mace) passed away on May 26th 2022, at the age of 78. "Ray" is survived by his wife Joy, his children Tassie and Clint (Michelle); his grandchildren Charisse, Kaitlyn, Curtis and Cassidy; great grandchildren Tanner, Payten and Carter, and his sister Judy Williams, as well as his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by his father (Howard), Mother Muriel Nadeau and stepfather Ben Nadeau.
Ray loved his family and friends, and we will miss the many stories and memories he loved to share, reminiscing about all his adventures and shenanigans! He Joined the navy at 19 and spent 3 years at sea, visiting many ports. He was very proud of his memorable "Navy tattoos".
Ray was a man of many talents! You could often find him tinkering in his shop as it was his passion; he could never pass up the opportunity to make someone happy with one of his many projects. He was an avid member at the local flying club, spending many days at the club spending time with his friends as well as building numerous planes and helicopters with his son, Clint.
Ray worked as a hoe operator in Gold River for most of his career and made many life-long friends; you would be hard pressed to find a logging road that Ray wasn't a part of.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this time.
We will be having a gathering on July 9th at 2pm at Ray and Joys home.
Come share some stories and celebrate Ray!
