COSSETTE

Carolynn Ann

12 November 1961 - 31 July 2009

Born in Ottawa, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Carolynn travelled the world with her military family and being a people person enjoyed every minute of it.

Carolynn leaves behind her 3 children, Colleen (Dave Wasyliw, grandson Reid in Winnipeg), Cayla (Steve Major), Beau, her parents Ray & Connie, brother Leo (Erin), sister Suzanne (Jeff), a large extended family, and many, many friends.

Carolynn had the heart of a giant, always thinking of others first. She would literally give you her shirt off her back. She enjoyed her volunteer work with the shelters and thrift stores. She always had that big smile and a hug for everybody.

Her doctored favorite poem reads like this:

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there, I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glint in the snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn rain

When you wake in the morning hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight

I am the soft stars that shine at night

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there, I do not sleep. R.I.P.

Carolynn we were so lucky to have you. Love from ALL of us.

We would like to thank Dr. Susan Hunter for her continued help.

A Celebration of Carolynn's life is being planned. Details will follow in an upcoming edition.
