Cathy passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 13, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents, Ted and Daisy Dawson and her sister Shirley.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother Ed (Helen), extended family, a close friend Alan and many other wonderful friends.
Cathy worked for many years as a dedicated nurse. She loved the opera and enjoyed travelling.
The family wish to thank all of Cathy's doctors and nurses at the Comox Valley Hospital for their comforting care over the past months.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday July 5th at 2 pm at Piercy's Funeral Home, 440 England Ave, Courtenay BC.
Donations to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
