TOZER, Cecil Oliver

Cecil passed away suddenly on Aug 9th, 2010.


Cecil was a construction superintendent and moved to B.C. from Ontario for numerous projects like Gold River Pulp Mill and LRT Sky Train Stations in Vancouver. He subdivided his property in Ships Point, and installed a water system serving Tozer Rd.


He was a quiet and gentle man. His family was his main interest, and is now with his 4 legged companion “Peaches”

He enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing and always could be found doing something in the yard.


Cecil was predeceased by his parents: George and Annie, brothers: Dilbert, Garnett, Everett, Reginald, sisters: Ina, Myrtle, Doris, Ilean, step-son: Larry.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Stella of 53 years, son Ron (Rosalind)Tozer of Mississauga Ont., son Don (Liz) Tozer of Port Alice, daughter Debbie (Doug) Etherington of Courtenay B.C., step-daughter Joan (Bob) Letsos of Cumberland B.C.


Also grandchildren Michael, Danya, Devin, Christopher, Angela and great granddaughter Ryann, brothers Eldon, Roy and Sister Joyce of Thunder Bay Ont., and families. Nephew Ernie (Lou) McKenzie Nanaimo B.C. who visited often.


There will be no service by request.


The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Musgrave and all the Staff of Eagleview and Oceanview for the special care they gave Dad.


Donations may be made to Cumberland Lodge as Cecil was about to move there to join Stella.
