DENNISON, Charles James “Jim” Odbur
April 10, 1943 – May 21, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. Jim will be missed by his wife Heather, daughters; Lucinda (Jason Davies) Dennison of Parksville,BC, Rhonda (Marty) Gonzales of Madera, California, grandchildren; Danielle, Santino and Natalia. He will also be missed by his brother-in-law Earl and sister-in-law Sharon Kierstead.
Jim was a proud member of Concorde Masonic Lodge, Parksville, the Parksville/Qualicum Beach Shrine Club and Fire Chief of the Deep Bay Fire/Rescue Department.
Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Portland Shrine Hospital, 3101 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Rd. Portland, OR 97201 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 255 – 2000 Island Hwy, Brooks Landing, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5W3. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on May, 29, 2010 @ 1:00 pm at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Rd, Parksville, BC.
