Jan 2, 1963 - Jan 31, 2018
Former Comox Valley resident, Chris Cattrall, aged 55, died January 31, 2018 at his home in Lacombe, Alberta. Chris was born January 2, 1963 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox. He grew up in Little River and attended Tsolum Elementary, Comox Junior and Highland Secondary. He made many friends during his school years and maintained those friendships throughout his life.

Chris worked in various industries on the island and in Vancouver before starting his own business in Alberta. He prided himself on building his company, Corewoods, from scratch. He took huge risks changing his career in his early forties and worked incredibly hard to build a profitable enterprise that hired many employees.

Chris valued integrity, honesty and hard work. He was loving, kind, funny and would give his shirt off his back to help anyone. He loved animals and at one point was the proud owner of eight dogs! Chris was quick with a smile or a laugh and even quicker with a hug. He was definitely the biggest Pittsburgh Steeler fan decking out his house in the team's colours, yellow and black. Water sports were one of Chris' many passions and he enjoyed many a summer at the local lakes tubing and skiing. Chris was charismatic and always the life of the party as his family and many friends will attest.

Chris will be missed by his family. He is survived by his mother Shane, his sisters, Cherry (Rick), Kim, Lisa (Jeff), his nieces and nephews, Kate, Alec, Ben and Teagan and his many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout England.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, Dennis William Cattrall.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Comox Valley S.P.C.A.
