Mar 28, 1973 - Apr 15, 2018
Chris passed away peacefully with family members by his side, on 15 April 2018, at the age of 45 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born 28 March 1973, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. It is believed that his blood ran green as he was an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider fan since birth.

Chris lived in Moose Jaw, Vancouver and Calgary for various parts of his life. He came to the Island in 2008. Chris worked as an assistant manager at the Courtenay KAL Tire and later as the Manager of one of the Nanaimo KAL Tire stores. After his cancer diagnosis, he started to work as the Parts Manager at Courtenay Canadian Tire, as he wanted to stay closer to home and family.

Chris loved his Mustang and was a member of the River City Stangs. He took great pride in going for rides in his mustang with his daughter Eliana, all decked out in their mustang shirts.

He was a dedicated Freemason and a Principal Officer of Comox Lodge #188. Chris thoroughly enjoyed Freemasonry and his enthusiasm for the Order, led to his participation with other Masonic Concordant Bodies notably: North Island #10 Chapter Holy Royal Arch, Cryptic Rite, Perceptory and Arbutus Chapter Conclave. He was very popular in the Masonic Community and easily recognized and remembered as a genuine and compassionate Brother.

Chris was many things to different people. He will be missed as he leaves his wife Heather, daughter Eliana, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at their church, 3:00 pm Friday 20 April 2018 at Northgate Church, 1640 Burgess Rd, Courtenay.
