Our mother passed away on March 25th at Ocean View Lodge. Born in Haddington, Scotland on August 10, 1931. Chrissie was known for her kind and loving nature. She loved reading, gardening, camping, jigsaw puzzles, and family get-togethers. Her proud accomplishments were her children, grandchildren and her sheltie's. Chrissie was a longtime member of the Forbidden Plateau Obedience and Tracking Club where she put her 5 shelties to the highest level.
Predeceased by husband Malcolm, son Alistair, brothers Charlie and Jack, and sister Nancy. Greatly missed by her daughters, Linda, Caroline (Paul), sons George (Helen), Ken (Alison), 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother Tom (Mary) of Courtenay, sisters Nessie and May of Whitburn, Scotland.
Our family would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the nurses at Ocean View and Dr. Hunter for the care of our mother through her journey with Alzheimer's.
Mom requested no service or fuss, she will be cremated with her ashes to be scattered at home in Scotland. Donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
