July 4, 1923 - August 15, 2005
Doug passed away peacefully in his sleep at Glacier View Lodge, Courtenay, BC. He was predeceased by his parents. Doug is survived by his loving wife Agot, four step-children: Betty Ann, Helen, Paul (Linda), and Barb (Marty); and by many step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, plus brother Wilfred (Mary), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doug spent many years with the Ministry of Highways throughout British Columbia and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Following Doug’s wishes; there will be no funeral service. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Glacier View Lodge for the wonderful care they provided to Doug during his time with them. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s- Mt. Washington Funeral Home.
