FITZGERALD, Claude Joseph
November 14, 1918 – March 22, 2010
Claude died very peacefully on March 22, 2010 at St. Joseph’s hospital with his granddaughters Cori and Jamie at his bed side.
Claude has gone to join his three girls: Judy, Claudette and Donna whom he loved and missed.
He will be greatly missed by his granddaughters, Cori and Shawna and all of his great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his long time friend, Bea.
Claude was a retired sawyer, who owned and operated his own mill on Arden Road. Born in the Comox Valley, he never ventured very far from his home as he loved to putter in his garden and tinker with his tractor.

A Celebration of Claude’s life will be held on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Cori’s house, 4658 MacIntyre Avenue, Courtenay.
