It is with a heavy heart that the Family announces the sudden passing of Cody Thomas Ellis at the young age of 24 in Victoria BC.
Cody was Born June 1st,1994 in Campbell River. He worked at many things in his short life from the Oyster Farms in Fanny Bay to drywalling and construction that took him from BC to Alberta and Back. Cody Made friends where ever he went and always did his best to stay in contact with as many of them as he could over the years.
He loved life and those around him and would do anything for anyone. Cody had an infectious smile and funny sense of humor that would warm people's hearts and lift them up when they were sad or down, this will be missed by so many.
Cody had a special place in his heart for all his sisters and always made a point to call, text or just stop by.
One of his favorite placing was Upper Campbell Lake where he loved to camp and swim with his friends and family including jumping off the trestle. Another place was the Quinsam potholes as well as the beaches and surrounding Area of union bay/fanny bay. He was just starting to make plans to go on a road trip out east.
He leaves behind to mourn: Father John Ellis (Shandi) Mother Sally Granger (Travis) Big Brother Daniel Ellis. Sisters Ashley Ellis (Brya) Sara Deroover (Aaron) Taylor Ellis Stepmother Tracy Tomkinson Stepfather Andy Deroover Grandfather Edward Granger Grandmother Kathy Granger step Grandparents Joe & Bea Tomkinson, many Aunts and Uncles Nieces and Nephews.
