Lane, D. Ruth
D. Ruth Lane died September 17, 2003 in Comox Hospital. Ruth, a retired teacher, was originally from Nova Scotia, lived most of her life in Grimshaw, Alberta and moved to the Comox Valley in 1993. Her husband Donald predeceased her in Nova Scotia (1982). She is survived by her sister Phoebe (Henry) Johnson of Truro, NS; daughter Donna (Ted) Walker; son David Lane (Ruth Tilston); grandchildren: Georgette (Rob) Feenstra, Andrew Lane (Naomi), Jeremy Walker (Stacy Bell), and Roderick Lane. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation to the charity of your choice honouring her memory would be appreciated. At Ruth’s request there will be no funeral service.
