TEASDALE, Daniel Scott

1975 - 2004

Despite his constant optimism and positive attitude towards his health problems, Daniel Scott Teasdale passed away at Royal Jubilee Hospital at the age of 28 on January 17th, 2004 after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.  Dan was born in Toronto and lived in Edmonton, Barrie, Ont., La Baie, Quebec, Trenton, Ont., and finally settled in the Comox Valley in 1990.  Dan graduated from G.P. Vanier Secondary School in 1993 and then attended North Island College for 1 year in the Culinary Arts Program.  He worked for 5 years at the Courtenay White Spot Restaurant before leaving to work for the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission in Stettler, AB.  His failing health forced Dan to move back to Courtenay two years ago to live with his parents.  Dan leaves his loving parents Scott and Sue, sister Natalie, brother-in-law Scott, girlfriend Christa, niece Sara, nephews Colin and Logan as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mourn his passing. A Celebration of Life Service for Dan will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2004 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Piercy's Funeral Home, 440 England Ave, Courtenay.  In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
