GIORGIANNI, Darryl Shane

Darryl Giorgianni passed away in Victoria, B.C. on December 21, 2009. He was predeceased by grandmother Marjorie Sparks, grandfather Lloyd Sparks, grandfather Thomas Anderson, grandmother Margaret Giorgianni and grandfather Salvitore Giorgianni. Darryl is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughters; Ashley Giorgianni, Sarah, Amanda and Haley, his parents Jack and Millie Giorgianni, brothers Chris Giorgianni and Paul Giorgianni, sister Kelley Giorgianni (Brad Dean), nieces and nephews; Chantelle, Melissa, Justin and Samantha as well as many, many aunts and uncles and dozens of cousins across Canada. Darryl worked at the Gorge Road Hospital and in his leisure time enjoyed NASCAR and working on all Ford vehicles with a special love for Mustangs and camping with family. He was an amazing, gentle, kind and caring man with the greatest sense of humour. Darryl had the biggest heart with the greatest pride, love and joy for his daughter Ashley.
If friends so wish, donations in Darryl’s name made to the Richmond Pavilion Hospice Society of Victoria - Third Floor at the Royal Jubilee Hospital would be appreciated. A Funeral Service was held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church on Monday, December 28th, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
