David Grant Coyne
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of David Grant Coyne, on June 29th, 2016. David was the youngest of 8 children born to John and Olga. He is predeceased by his brothers Tom, Jack and Ron, and sisters Anna and Ethel. He leaves to mourn his sisters Marguerite and Geraldine.
Growing up in Manitoba, David enjoyed a number of outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing with his brother Ron. After he proudly served in the C.A.F as an SS Tech, he devoted his time to various hobbies, most notably, Horticultural pursuits that supplied his culinary creations in the kitchen. We will sorely miss the incredible meals he cooked and the crazy games we played.
David will be greatly missed by his wife, Brenda, his son Michael, his daughters Corina and Kelly (Ben), and his Granddaughter Caitlyn!
The family would like to thank Dr. Glick and the staff at the dialysis unit in Nanaimo for the wonderful care they provided. We would also like to thank the palliative care staff in Nanaimo for their tremendous kindness and care they gave to all of us.
