Boudreau, David William Thomas of Comox, B.C., passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side. Dave is survived and deeply missed by his son Darren (Debbie) and grandchildren Allison and Kyle. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Susan Bradbury (Ryan, Caitlyn, and Dylan), stepson Michael Bradbury, his extended family and many close friends.
Dave was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth, son David Jr and Michael's partner Joe.
His military service included 1 RCR (Airborne), Logistics (Base Supply), and he retired as a civil servant from 19 Wing Comox in 2003. He was well known for his marksmanship and played as the goalie on many military hockey teams.
Dave lived life to the fullest with many hobbies and passions including fishing, hunting, cooking and guitar playing. He enjoyed nothing more than an evening filled with music, friends and family. He will long be remembered for his sense of humour, curiosity, words of wisdom and strong work ethic.
Donations in Dave's memory can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or a charity of one's choice.
A Celebration of Dave's Life will take place later this summer.
