Deanna Mae Stewart, our dearest Mom, Grandma, GG, Ma and Baby Sister, "fell off her perch" peacefully on March 28, 2018, surrounded by loving family and friends.
Deanna said she was excited to meet up with those who had passed before her; Laura, Jack, Sherry and all of her pets.
Deanna was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on October 21, 1940 to John (Jack) and Laura Stewart.
Deanna's spirit of curiosity led her to places all over the world for adventure, learning and love. She moved to the Comox Valley to be near her eldest daughter Sherry and her first grandchild, Aaron.
She will be greatly missed by her Big Sister Jacqueline (Earl) Hayter, her two surviving daughters, Michaelah Brown and Deanna (Alex) Pepper, grandchildren Aaron, Heather, Griffin, Simon, Dawson and Logan; great-grandchildren Carter, Addison, Marshall, Kennedy, and Hudson, Ryland and Martina, and son-in-law Jorden (Michele).
Deanna had a couple of favorite phrases in recent months which she would use depending on how she was feeling that particular day: "This too shall pass; it may pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass" and "This moment is perfect."
There will be no service at her request.
