McFayden, Derwood Scott Sr.
1940 - 2002
After a courageous fight, Derwood passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, January 25, 2002. Derwood joins his mother, Ivy McFayden, grandparents, aunts and uncles into the Lords care. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Grace, his children: Michael, Pamela, Tessa, Ivy, and DJ; grandchildren: Richard, Brendan and Shayne. Also survived by his loving father, Ken McFayden, brother Rodney (Linda) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
You will be sadly missed but your memory will always remain in our hearts and minds. Memorial Service to be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1101 Ryan Road February 1, 2002 at 2:00 pm. Gathering to follow at 1521 Tull Avenue, Courtenay, BC.
